Derek Leonard Royis a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing for Avangard Omsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. Roy has previously played with SC Bern with whom he won the NLA title in 2016. We're battling for first place with Ottawa, so all those games are going to be huge. Then Toronto and Boston are fighting for playoff spots, and Montreal's trying to stay in. Those are all going to be huge, key games for us. Those are all four-point games.

It's nice to help the team now. At the beginning of the year I wasn't scoring much. Hopefully I can keep plugging away and keep trying to score.

I gave him a pass and I saw the goalie slide over, so I figured he might not score so I was getting ready for a pass. Van has great vision. He saw me at the side of the net and made a great play.

The ceremony before the game, it seemed like the crowd was ready for the game, electrifying. We were trying to give them as much as we can. I thought we got better as the game went on..killed some big penalties there.

Maxim is such a dangerous player with the puck, he draws players to him, especially after scoring a goal like that. I look for that, you seem to get a little more space when Maxim has the puck, so it's my job to get to an open spot, because he usually finds a way to get the puck to you. He made a great pass and all I had to do was hit the net.

We had a couple of great shifts there. I thought we played extremely well tonight, skating and passing the puck. I thought we could have had a couple of more.
lose seems
We don't like losing. It seems like when we lose we come back with a better effort. We just don't want to lose two in a row.

We know we have great goaltending and great defense, so when we get in a shootout like that and we can win a game like that it's huge for our team.
