A vehicle with some subjects drove by and fired shots toward the business, striking the owner in the leg and striking a customer, a second victim, in the shoulder. This morning we discovered that the owner, who has been identified as Mildred Reid Francis, (who was) 41 years of age, has died at Jackson Memorial Hospital, therefore the homicide detectives are currently taking over the investigation.
