control controlled situation
We're realistic. But I'm not going to say we're not going to be (in the playoffs). The only thing I'm going to do is try to control the things that we have control of. If we'd controlled it better earlier, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in.
chance concerned games history last odds past playing shows team until win won
We're not concerned about the playoffs. Right now our concern is playing well Saturday. That's all that matters. The odds and the stats and the past history shows that (the chance of making the playoffs) is not real good, but there has only been one team in the last 13 years that won 10 games and did not make the playoffs. We have a chance to win 10, but you can't do that until you win No. 9. For us, it's all about Saturday.
assume gets guilty major organized plans players plots problem until
There are organized plots and plans to get you one way or the other. But every once in a while someone gets trapped. We always assume our players are not guilty of any major problem until someone really clarifies it for us.

fight guys motivate people performance position presence stronger ways within
We've still got a ways to go. Obviously, (the new players) have made a contribution. Sometimes they make a contribution with their presence as well as their performance because they motivate other guys and they make other people fight a little stronger for their position within the roster.

When he found out his dad was located, he came upstairs to my office, knocked on the door and came walking in (and said), 'Coach, they found my dad,' ... He was real excited, and relieved.
