absolutely knew paul realize
Paul was absolutely sensational tonight. I didn't realize they had 50 and 43. I knew they had a lot. I could sense that. I just didn't know it was that high. Pretty cool.
ball found game great guys kept moving open swing trap until won
I thought we won the game because of great ball movement. That's how you play at the end of a game. If they trap you, swing it, and the ball kept moving until it found the open guy. You could see our guys at the end were getting into the ball movement.
action believe great guys job stuff title
I want these guys to be great players, I really do, but I also want them to be professional. I don't know if that comes into my job title or not, but I believe it does. So when that stuff happens, you have to take an action that you don't really want to take.
bunch games lost shots time winning
It was about time one of those went for us. We've lost a bunch of games on shots like that. Now, of late, we are winning them and things like that are going our way.
confidence days focus focused guys loss obviously seem snap spend time today tougher trying work
It's tougher obviously after a loss because guys are down emotionally. On days after a loss sometimes you've really got to snap their focus in. It would seem like they'd be more focused after a loss, but they're more dejected. Their confidence is down. You spend have the time trying to work them into it. Today we didn't have to do that.
becoming continuing focus people team win
I think Paul's team play enabled us to win on this trip. He's been great. I think people will focus on his scoring, but he's done so many other things. We are continuing to improve. We are becoming a team.
blow coaches court few hold rookies solid
He's one of the few guys, especially as a rookie, that when he's on the floor, at least to some degree, you breathe, ... Usually when rookies are on the court coaches don't breathe. They hold their breath. But he doesn't play that way. He's not going to blow you away with flash. He's just going to blow you away with solid basketball.
amazing anybody gets guy score
It really was awesome. I didn't think anybody could score 81 points. And he didn't play well in the first half. The amazing part was he didn't get tired. That guy never gets tired.
favor given miami size speed trouble win
Chicago's speed and their pick-and-roll has given Miami trouble in the past. At the end of the day though, size will win out and that will favor Miami.
deserved stretch ton win
I don't know if we actually deserved to win. But I did think we had just a ton of opportunities down the stretch to win that game.
difference game keeps teammates third understand year
The difference now is that he keeps his teammates involved. He scored 36 in the flow. The guy's in the third year of his career. To understand the game the way he does, he should coach.
gave
This game, we had the win, and we gave it away.
hurt intensity lost stretch watch
That one stretch really hurt us. I thought we really lost our intensity and started to watch them play.
loved saving
I loved it. He was saving his money.
