Donald Francis Roywas a sociologist on the faculty of Duke University from 1950 to 1979. Well known for his field work into industrial working conditions, workplace interactions, social conflict, and the role of unions. Every school district has training in place for bus drivers. Every school district has guidelines for safety on buses. The coaches take care of the kids, and the drivers take care of the road. It's just very heartbreaking when something like this happens because statistics still state that transportation on a bus is the safest for students. Our hearts go out to their families.
