channel council emotions forward great league learn looking positive program rock shoot standard
Council Rock has been a great program for many years. It's a standard in our league we all shoot for. We were anxiously looking forward to the game. We have to learn to channel emotions in a positive way. It's a long season.
epitome guard happen point
She's the epitome of a point guard already. That doesn't happen often (with a sophomore). She was groomed for this position.
forth good
As long as we put forth a good effort, I think we'll be successful.
beating people
She has an uncanny sense for beating people to a spot.
afford enjoy federal nancy postal raise regular responsibility triple work
Basically, I enjoy working here, it's just too much responsibility for the income. They won't give Nancy a raise and I can't afford to work for the same thing forever. I do the same thing as a regular federal postal employee, and they make about triple what I do. I don't have any benefits. I have to do what's right for me.
across bridge coming great team
It was a team win. It was a great confidence-builder, going across the bridge and coming back champs.
compliment deserving district feeling girls good hard high places rest season type value worked
It's a compliment to our girls for the type of season we've had so far. I feel like we're deserving of it. We've worked really hard to get to this point. It's a real good feeling to see that the rest of the district places such high value on the season we've had.
girls losing played row
The girls played real well together. They bounced back from losing two in a row and played real hard.
advantage good player size took
She took it over. She took advantage of her size inside. A good player will take advantage of what they give you, and she did.
battling everybody satisfying
We showed a lot of character, a lot of heart, battling back after two losses. It was a satisfying win; everybody contributed.
We're going to go out and play our game-force them to make adjustments. If we play OUR game, we'll be successful.
