The guy can rush it up there. He is a big guy with a 93-94 mph fastball, and a change-up that has no bottom to it.
Individual statistics are fine and dandy, but it's lonely out there, ... You want to share with the 24 other guys that helped you be successful.
It's baseball. That's the beauty of it, playing the games. It's a double-edged sword. Anything can happen. This team has the capability. We just haven't hit yet.
Nothing ceases to amaze me about what he's doing now. I've seen what he can do my whole life. It's a beautiful thing to see how talented he is now. Everybody who knew him knew he was destined to do great things.
I tried to dodge it, but it was on me so quick, and I have a big backside.
I looked at the second baseman and I figured I'd go hard and give up my body to get in there, ... It was key. It was all about just putting pressure on their guy. I wasn't able to put down any bunts today. I'm upset about that, but I was able to get some key hits for the team.
I'm still excited to be here. The bottom line is, I'm just not playing good baseball. I'm a man and can admit it. ... I'm hoping we advance so I'll get another start.

It was 4-1, and now it's 6-1, and it makes it that much harder to come back, ... It makes the (Astros') climb that much higher. So that's all I was thinking putting more pressure on the opposition.
Especially the last couple of days people were very excited, more excited than I was, ... I was eager to see how things were going to turn out, but I slept easy (Wednesday) night. ... I'm the second-best pitcher in the National League, which is not that dang bad.
I've said early on, it comes down to consistency and being able to do it inning after inning, ... Things are coming together, and I hope to build off it.
Keep winning and get to the postseason, ... I won 20 games and they just dumped one beer on my head. It feels good because I'm helping my team win.
I have to be prepared to take the mound every five days, and I can't afford to stop and listen to what people are saying.
I don't even know what WHIP means, ... They were so similar, I have no idea. Maybe because I had more losses than him. That's the only thing I can see off the top of my head.
