feels whenever
It's just whenever it feels like it's right.
ahead tempted
It's just better to just go ahead and not even be tempted to give them those minutes.
applaud attacked basket freedom learning responsibility took
It's just being young. He wasn't afraid. He attacked the basket and took the shots. But with freedom comes responsibility and accountability. You have to make those plays. I applaud him for being aggressive, but you've got to make it happen. We just have to keep learning from those experiences.
against amount coaching job practice short staff
It's the NBA; everything's fair. If (the trade) doesn't work, it's on my shoulders. I take that responsibility, against a short amount of practice time. But it's the job of myself and my coaching staff to make it work.
boards defensive hard offensive run
It's hard to run out when you don't get defensive stops. They got so many offensive boards that it slowed down our momentum.
ball defend explained key playing push supposed
I've explained to him to get in there and push the ball and defend and do what he's supposed to do when he's starting. The key is getting that opportunity, because Marcus is playing so well right now.
flexible goal ready starting trade
It's your goal starting out to make the playoffs. I didn't see not making the playoffs, no, I didn't, not at all. First, I didn't see the trade (with Boston) coming. I didn't see going into the development direction. But again, you've got to be ready for that and flexible for that as an organization being on the same page.
best both ends playing
It's who's playing the best basketball, at both ends of the floor.
anybody disrespect guy liked mentally ricky spirit tough toughness type wins
It's who he is. That's what he does. He's that type of athletic, mentally tough guy that I've always liked from afar. No disrespect to Wally or anybody we lost, but I've always liked Ricky Davis' spirit from afar. That type of toughness is what wins for you down the stretch.
amazing days dog gets
That's amazing that he never gets tired. These are the dog days and he's like the Energizer Bunny.
gets hope rehab until
That's always a concern, but I hope that's not the case. I think rehab should be the first option. But if he has to (have a cleaning-out procedure), we have to keep going until he gets back.
couple execution last minutes
Execution down the stretch, that's been our story the last couple games. We haven't done the little things in the last couple minutes of the game.
They're better at it than we are right now.
doom gloom rainbow
There's been so much doom and gloom around here. There is a rainbow at the end of the storm.
