hard summer train
That is why you train so hard in the summer time.
draining great
This is just great for the team. Emotionally, it was a very draining game.
chance games guys stealing win worried
Not really worried about stealing games or anything else. Just give our guys a chance to win. That's all that matters. Unfortunately, we didn't win tonight. Like I said, at the end of the day that's the only thing that matters.
far likes practice schooled
It's one of those things, he likes to go far side. He schooled me on it. All those years of practice and he got me.
months three
I've got two or three months in the summertime for that.
drive learned net puck trying whistle worked
I've done it for awhile, actually I learned it from Dominik ( Hasek ) in Buffalo. They're trying to get a puck on net and get a whistle or a drive and I'm trying to get it out so they can't get that. It worked tonight. Sometimes it doesn't, sometimes it does.
chance focus intense puck team trying worry
I try not to worry about how intense it is out there. I was just trying to focus on the puck and give our team a chance to win.
hand handle hit stick sticks
It hit my hand and went in the net. I had my stick there. That's the way the sticks are designed. The handle part is narrower, and that's where it hit.
played team
We played well as a team and that's all that matters.
chance control focus guys puck stopping trying
I was just trying to focus on the puck and give our guys a chance to win. You have to control the things you can control and for me, that's stopping the puck.
playoff sure winning
If you look at the playoff picture, we had to win. We've got to make sure we keep winning and try to use this as a snowball effect.
bit create guys
I'm getting to know the guys a little bit and kind of getting into a groove. So I've got to take this and use it to create something good.
against battle chance gave guys playing seemed solution team
I don't know the team well enough to give you a diagnostic solution to that. We gave up some odd-man rushes, which, from playing against these guys over the years, they never seemed to do. But as a goalie you have to try and battle through those and give your guys a chance to win.
believe
We've just got to believe in ourselves, and right now I don't think we are.
