I feel the freshman class is physically capable of playing right away. But as a coach, I know what we're up against. They'll learn how physical and fast the games are. There are no tomorrows in college soccer.

This year, my goal is not to be 'just competitive.' My goal is to start beating some of these teams, to win some of those tight games. We need to start winning some of these games as we build our program. Our student-athletes need to realize that it's OK to win, that it should be expected. That's the approach I have.
