Edward Richard DeChellisis an American college basketball coach and current head men's basketball coach at the United States Naval Academy. Previously he was the head coach at Penn State from 2003-2011 and at East Tennessee State from 1996-2003. At Penn State, DeChellis led the Nittany Lions to an NIT Title in 2009 and a NCAA Tournament berth in 2011. It was just a struggle. Our problems on offense transferred to the defensive end and our guys got pretty frustrated.

They beat us from start to finish. It was a great performance shooting the basketball. I've never seen a team shoot the ball they way they shot it. It just wasn't one guy, it was everybody.

You can only do so much in one practice. You have an hour-and-a-half practice to put as much as you possibly can in.

The leadership is OK when things are going OK. When things aren't going so well, we get pretty quiet.

I think it's been a different team and different feel from start to finish. It helps when you win some games, too, along the way. You don't have those stretches where you don't win for a month and it just wears on you. So I think that has helped our morale tremendously.

I think that's the most disappointing thing to me is we had an opportunity and we didn't take advantage of our opportunity. Hopefully, we'll grow up and understand that only so many opportunities come around ... and you've got to be ready to grasp the opportunity and take it and move on.

For 35 minutes, we were in good shape. We made a very good run at this thing, but it just didn't happen for us. ... We had our opportunities but didn't make some critical shots when we needed to.
