area gone manage town whenever
Whenever I have gone to manage in a town, I try to find out as much about that town and the area around it as I can,
job proud
I was real proud of the job Shad did,
accepted came people reason saw visited
Essentially, we came in here as a new business, and people accepted us, and one reason is because we visited the schools, visited the hospitals, went to openings, all of those things. We were out in the community, people saw us and accepted us as part of the community.
buildings businesses city help proud seen time
I've seen a lot of new buildings go up, the new library, new developments and new businesses which will help the city over the long haul. There have been some big improvements in this city in the time I've been here, and I think those are things the city should be especially proud of.
city earth hard money people work
This is a blue-collar city with people who work hard for their money and are really down to earth,
came hits hitting keeps needed
Zacuto just keeps getting big hits for us, and Salvo came through, too. He hadn't been hitting that much, but he got one when we needed it.
coach win
I know I'll never win championships here like Coach Colombo did for all those years, but he told me a lot of things about what Brockton is about.
proud terms
I'm very proud of what this organization has done in terms of our involvement in the community,
I like the way things are going for us right now,
consider fancy four fries hamburger people soon steak
I'm a neighborhood-bar kind of guy, anyway. I'd just as soon have a hamburger and fries as have a steak or a fancy meal. I like to be around people I consider my friends, and I've made a lot of friends in my four years here.
best expect field head sounds tomorrow worse
I didn't expect to play today, and it sounds even worse for tomorrow (today), so we'll see what happens. You never know with the weather. We wanted to play if we could and we were able to. (Campanelli head groundskeeper) Tommy Hassett is the best groundskeeper I've ever been around and we've got the best field I've seen, and that allows us to play after all that rain.
couple good last looked self sharp stuff usual
I don't think Dorn was his usual sharp self tonight. I really don't think he has had his really good stuff the last couple of starts. I don't know why, but that's how it looked to me.
certainly decision
It's a decision that certainly could have backfired, and still might.
blow breeze coming fog gonna gotten meant storm stuff
It wasn't like there was gonna be a breeze that would blow that fog away. That stuff wasn't going anywhere. And if we had gotten a breeze, that probably would have meant another storm coming in, and that wouldn't have been good, either.
