It is still very disconcerting that we have 12-, 13-, 14-year-olds planning these things out for the simple reason of they don't like certain administrators and teachers.

That's pretty brazen to have a guy do that. The 14-year-old brother did what he was supposed to do.

He approached them and said, 'Hey, you guys play football?' and starting making small talk.

The driver is very shaken up and upset. It is really unfortunate because the girl was wearing dark clothing, it was still partially dark, and she stepped right out in front of moving traffic. There was not much the driver could have done.
broad desperate involved people students weapon
The (student) had to get some stitches but he'll be okay. Regardless, we have a weapon involved where desperate people are doing desperate things in broad daylight. Students need to be vigilant.

We know that is it the crime of the future. We want to evolve as the crime evolves and not just play catch up.
