box bullets caught coming dodging finally gamble games last night solid stretch three
We dodged two or three bullets last night coming down the stretch with a gamble here or a gamble there or someone didn't box out, yet we got the rebound, ... We've been dodging bullets for three games and it finally caught up to us. We had a lead. We didn't need to gamble. You have to play good, solid defense.
gave people run talk today
We gave them a run for their money, 36 to 5. People talk about the X-factor. Today we had the Z-factor, for zero.
against challenge designed good great kobe sure tried turn
We designed it just right. We just wanted to make sure that Kobe would not get a good look. Calvin was very instrumental in it. Kobe tried to turn and make a pass, and it just slipped out of his hand. That is a part of fatigue. He is a great player. We take the challenge to go against someone like him.
control force score somehow tempo
We can force the tempo even after makes. That's how we control the tempo. But we have to score to force the tempo. If you can keep on scoring, somehow they think that they have to keep up with you.

What hurt me most was my team not playing the way we are supposed to play. They did. We didn't.
happen maybe pitfalls regular season thinking
There are pitfalls - overconfidence and thinking that maybe the regular season isn't as important. Sometimes that happens. I'm not going to say that's going to happen to us, but there are pitfalls.
cannot challenge discipline finish full good impatient next organized playing position reason season strong talked tonight win
This was a good win for us tonight. We were competitive and were more organized down the stretch. Tonight we talked about not being impatient on defense, and playing each position for the full 24 seconds. There is no reason why we cannot play like this for the next 21 games. That is our challenge - to finish the season strong and to play with discipline like we did tonight.
crap stand
We play like crap with the lead. We can't stand prosperity, but we're resilient.
last playing seattle team
We're not going out there playing a 50-win Seattle team of last year.
easy healing looking minds move positive process type
We're looking at a healing process tomorrow. We're going to need some type of therapy. We've got to get our minds on positive things. It's not easy getting over things like this, but we've got to move ahead.
bright growth lights ready seen talking team throughout veteran
We have a veteran team and they all know when the bright lights come on, ... I've seen growth throughout the preseason. I see us talking more on defense, communicating a little better. We'll be ready to go.
ability ball bring calling eight force instead jump minutes nine playing power score step
There are times, when if you're playing well, let's just play well from the jump ball instead of playing well eight or nine minutes into the quarter. I think it's a calling right now for him to step up and bring what we need -- a little more force and power and the ability to score in the post.
deal game miami ready tomorrow tough win worst
We wanted to win this game in the worst way. Its a tough, tough loss, but we have to deal with it and get ready for Miami tomorrow night.
