What a man. This man has taught me so much. He was just special. Elrod was a super person and I am glad that I've known him.
It was wonderful going back home to the Dodger organization, where my dad was probably second to Tommy Lasorda as being a Dodger fan.
This man here has taught me so much, and he guided me through a lot of things. He was just special.
The big change is seeing the ball from a different angle. He played his entire career on the other side. The tough thing is to get him to slow down. Things don't happen as fast at first base.
I don't wish I did anything differently. The most important thing to me was to play baseball.
