I'm scared to death of doing it, because I love him (Iggy Pop) so much and I respect the music so much. I don't want to be the person responsible for screwing that up.
It was a wonderful project to work on, and a very different character for me.
LOTR' was a landmark experience in my career, ... And it's where I helped to define myself as a human being and as an adult. I went to New Zealand by myself and had my own house and my own car.
He had a very clear vision of what he wanted to do artistically, visually, ... I wanted to be part of that vision. It seemed so beautiful and interesting.
It's fantastic, are you kidding? To sort of be part of this project from the ground up, from the script form, and then for it to kind of do as well as it did in the States in the festivals, and come here; it's fantastic, it's wonderful.
It's a film called 'Bobby,' ... It's about the day that Robert Kennedy was shot at the Ambassador Hotel, and it takes place at the Ambassador. It's essentially about a cross-section of various people from all walks of life, at that hotel on that day, all leading up to his speech and him being assassinated.
In some ways that's more gratifying, it requires more of your own energy and your own input, and everyone's kind of collective energy, and that's...in a way that's more gratifying.
I definitely don't look my age, ... So I actively look for roles that will help people change their perception of me.
At the base, it's about a man from America who doesn't quite fit in, with the comedy that entails. Everyone can relate to that, when things are lost in translation,

You just assume that you have some anan, ana, ananonimity, anonymity? Yeah, anonimity.
Dream the impossible because dreams do come true.
I think being different, going against the grain of society is the greatest thing in the world.
I never wanted to be in a band because I love music too much to mess it up.
