We're still frustrated not being in the top 10. I think we're a good enough team to be in the Chase, but we're not going to hang our heads and cry about it. There's a lot of good race teams out there.

Every sponsor wants to be a part of it, every driver, every team, but there are only so many pieces of the pie. If I don't make the chase, will I feel like I failed my sponsor? Yes, I will, because I've been in the top 10 all year long until the last month. We were almost counting our chickens before they were hatched around June, July, so it's going to be hard for me to look my sponsors in the face if we don't make it.

I noticed a lot of guys were not slamming into each other. Eighty percent of it in the 150 is protecting your 500 car.

My spotter said there was debris everywhere, so I was just slowly picking my way through there, and the next thing I know everyone is wrecking.

I told Doug Yates we are going to get another pole here this weekend, ... It's a lot of fun to drive; everybody is really happy right now. It's really cool to run this well every week we just need a little bit of luck right now. I am going to sleep on a different side of the bed tonight and get up on a different side of the bed and see if that will bring us some luck tomorrow.
