chase couple ground guys race run stand trying upset year
I think Dale is just upset that we're all trying to race to get into the Chase and he's not going to take it anymore, and I'm not either, ... We've had a couple of guys run over us this year and we're going to stand our ground and we're not going to take it anymore.
effort good last people prove races run start
That was a pretty good run for us, ... To get a top-10 qualifying effort was a good feeling. We've got a lot to prove to a lot of people in the last 10 races and we can start that (today).
changed luck philosophy race thrust top
The philosophy has changed in how you race for a championship. The whole thrust is on getting into that top 10 to give yourself a chance. Once you get there, luck comes into play, and anything can happen.
ahead behind best chances four guys hard mindset points pressure race racing run taking tires whether whom worry
We can't really worry about whom we're racing and who we're not racing. We just need to go up there and run the best way we can, whether it's taking chances like two tires or four tires or whatever. I feel like the pressure is not on us. I think the guys that are only one or 11 points behind or 10 points ahead of 10th place have more pressure than we have. I think that we have to go up with the mindset that we've just got to race as hard as we can and not really worry about the points.
gonna guys knows lap last nobody race until
Those guys showed that you don't give up until the very last lap and we're not either, ... Nobody knows what's gonna happen. That's why we race 400 laps.
cry frustrated good hang heads race team teams top
We're still frustrated not being in the top 10. I think we're a good enough team to be in the Chase, but we're not going to hang our heads and cry about it. There's a lot of good race teams out there.
chances confident forward gang looking plate race together tough whenever
We're looking forward to going back to Talladega this weekend, ... I'm as confident about our chances at a restrictor plate race as I have been in a very long time. Whenever we go to a restrictor plate race, we know that the 24, 15 and the 8 are going to be strong. All the Chevrolets gang up together because they know they are going to be tough to beat.
fun involved might points race racing
Busch racing is so fun to me because there's no points involved and I can go race and try to win, take chances. We might make it on gas, we might not.
couple last owners races running season top win
What we want to do these last 10 races is just get back to where we were running. We know the world hasn't come to an end because we're not in the top 10. Our season is not over just because we're not in it. We've got to go out and win a couple of races for this team, our owners and our sponsors.
guts guys race
Guys are going to have to race their guts out to pass.
act focused mental race ready standpoint team time
From a mental standpoint, not from a nut-and-bolts thing with the race car, but from a mental standpoint I think this team is more focused and more ready to go. I feel like I'm the quarterback of this race team. It's time for me to act like it.
continuing difference earn either higher job joining men paying proud quickly race virginia women
The Race to GED is making a difference in many Virginia communities and I am proud to be a part of it. By joining the Race to GED, working-age men and women can earn a GED quickly and get on with bettering their lives, either by qualifying for a higher paying job or by continuing their education.
feeling good great luck race run
To a race at a place that we had never run that well at before or never had good luck at before was a great, great feeling for my team,
absolutely best bring bringing bristol california care earned finished forced happen hard last less pole races richmond second situation situations starting stuff three weekend whether won
Right now, I could care less about New Hampshire. It's Bristol, California and Richmond -- that's it. We're going to bring the best stuff we've got these last three races starting with this weekend we're bringing back the car we won the pole and finished second with in the spring. It's hard to say whether you want to be going to Bristol with the situation we're in right now. It's a place where you're forced into a lot of situations that you don't necessarily want to be in. There's absolutely no give and take and anything can happen there so it's a well earned top-five if you can get one.
