ended field game inside kick losing missed offense
I wanted to let him know that if he missed this kick and we ended up losing the game that it wasn't his fault. Our offense had been sputtering inside the 25 all game long, so it shouldn't have even come down to a field goal.

He (Welch) missed an extra point, and he missed a 40-yarder early in the fourth quarter. But he connected when it counted. He hit it well, right down the middle.

Brian had a good game. It was just great to see him run tough. He was able to chew up some big yards on the ground.
