brooks easier explosive game great hard help nice plays simple stop work
It would be nice to go out and play a great game and help Brooks and make things easier on him, so he's not having to make plays that he hasn't made. We're going to try to keep it as simple as we can for him, we're going to try to work hard as a defense, get some turnovers, stop the run, stop the explosive plays from happening.
defense matter meetings page routes successful talking
As long as we're in meetings going over the routes and how to play them and talking out the defense when we're out on the field, I think we'll be on the same page and be successful back there, no matter who we put in there.
contact flag illegal throw
Every once in a while they will throw a flag on us for illegal contact downfield, or something like that.
correct mistakes stay stick
We've just got to stick together, correct the mistakes that we made and try to stay positive.
brave front fun head man
You have to be brave to go make fun of the head man in front of everyone.
team
We've got to play it better than that. It's frustrating to let the team down like that.
bar build coaching compete confident defense finish good higher honor hopefully knows next raise top tremendous work year
To finish in the top 10 would make us confident going into next year that we can go out and play with anyone. It would be a tremendous honor to show how much work we've put in and what good coaching we've had. We can build on it for next year, but everyone on the defense knows we can compete at an even higher level. Hopefully next year we can raise the bar more and be even better.
