It's been hard to deal with not being able to win championships here. I'm a winner, and I want to win every time I step on the court. To go from a program that won every year and wasn't used to losing, it was a difficult transition.

It's a real surprise and a shock. You knew one day Coach Sharp would retire. We didn't know that she would announce it today. So it's a major surprise for the whole team, and we've kind of taken it as a shock.

We knew we had to win today. Our hopes are to get to the Big 12 tournament and win it all.

We would go down to the Big 12 tournament and win it outright. Win the whole thing and finally get one of those trophies.
