hope proved
They kind of skipped over her, but she proved them wrong. I hope she can keep it up.
easiest jump
I wasn't disappointed with the score. I was just disappointed in the jump. It's the easiest jump in my program.
burst definitely learning medal olympics scene seem
I'll definitely keep going. I'm learning about the sport and the Olympics and world championships. To come out and burst on the scene and get a medal doesn't seem realistic.
ahead entire life tons waiting work
I know that I have tons of work ahead of me. But it's work that I've been waiting my entire life to do.
good
I had an off night. Not good to do it at the Olympics.
felt
In training, I've been doing the quad a lot and it's been going really well. This one felt good, and I was not braced for the fall.
exactly hard junior olympics time won
I didn't know exactly what it meant. At the time I was doing the Junior Olympics I thought, ?Well, I won that, how hard can it be to do this other Olympics? It's just another step.
best boost career coming confidence gives grand medals qualify season strong
I feel awesome. I've had a really strong season so far, the best of my career with two medals in the Grand Prix, and I was the only American to qualify for the finals. So that gives me a big boost of confidence coming in here.
expression facial felt few happened pace seconds sold sure trying
I could have sold it more, but I was trying to pace myself and take one thing at a time. Every few seconds I would think facial expression or choreography and I'd do something expression, but then I'd go back into my little zone. At the end I felt like I didn't remember. I wasn't sure if it had happened yet.
definitely eliminate trend trying
I definitely think the trend is we're trying to eliminate name-recognition from skating.
definitely stay
I definitely just wanted to stay on my feet,
element missed season short
That's the first element I have missed all season in the short program. Obviously, a very uncharacteristic mistake.
best season successful
It's been a very successful season for me. My best ever.
arrived came clean competition four last pairs program short
After the pairs short program (Saturday), I have adrenaline. I came back like I had just arrived and I'm in competition mode. I've had four clean run-throughs in the last four days.
