beat breathing contest great job jump looks position produce reasons rip team teams top
Rip did a great job and Redd didn't have a lot of breathing room. One of the reasons we aren't a big fouling team is that we don't produce a lot of steals. We don't jump out and we don't gamble. We play position defense. That's why so often our man-to-man looks like a zone. We try to make teams beat us over the top and contest every shot.
contested good help job might rip send tried understanding
Rip did a good job of understanding where help might be, tried to send him to as much help as he could and contested pretty much most of his shots.
conducive determine guy success whose
I tell all players, I don't determine how much you play, you do by how well you play. In Tony, I think we've got a guy whose temperament is conducive to having success in our system.
coming difficult enjoy love team work
I think if I didn't enjoy this team so much and wasn't having so much fun, things could become really difficult with being away from my family. But everything is fine. I love coming to work every day.
fine game gets guy line minutes players productive
I think if a guy gets in the game and he's productive, then he's going to get more minutes. That's what it's about. And it's that fine line: Do you become productive when you get minutes, or do you get minutes and then become productive? That's always the fine line between players and coaches.
guy perfect
I think he's a perfect international guy for what he can do.
concerned deserves great guy guys half putting
I think he deserves it. He's a guy who's had a great first half of the season. I'm not as concerned with just putting guys in by position; you know, because O'Neal's a big guy, put a big guy in there.
chance coaches five four good talking three vote voted whether
I think from talking to a lot of coaches, I'd say there's a pretty good chance of three going and a possibility of four. Just from talking to coaches. But you've had a lot of coaches say they would vote for five. Whether five could make it would be tough. Even if four makes it -- even three -- when you don't have any of them voted in by the fans, that's pretty unbelievable.
I still think he's very talented. He could play 12 or 13 years in our league.
came decision financial gonna
I still think he's very skilled. He could play 12 or 13 years in our league. He's a serviceable player. But it came down to we're gonna have to make a financial decision for the future.
guys win
I thought offensively we were very anxious. I told our guys that offensively we wanted to do it too quick. We wanted to win big right away.
ability allen good job missed nice ray shots
I thought he missed some shots, but he made plays. Sometimes I look at a player's ability to get good shots and he got good shots. I thought he also did a nice job on Ray Allen .
maybe rip
Maybe Rip doesn't want to play for me anymore. I don't know.
few game good last looking minutes overall people played
This was a good overall game for us. We did what we said we were looking to do with these last few games. We were sharp, we played a lot of people and were able to keep the starters' minutes down.
