anytime death lose pressure situation
Anytime you lose someone, a death in the family, it's very, very emotional. We're not in any situation to pressure him one way or the other.
competitor great greatest played time
Any time you are a competitor and you're not winning, you get frustrated. The great ones all do and he's going to be one of the greatest that ever played this game.
care job makeup medical missing people total
That's even more unbelievable than not missing any games. Part of that is the (players') makeup and how they take care of themselves. And part of it is our medical people and the job they do. It's a total approach.
energy true
That's especially true for them at home. They are improving. They play with a lot of energy in this building.
character easy extremely glass jump matched played settling switching took
(The Lakers) were extremely aggressive. We got pounded on the glass and they took things to the basket. We played out of character defensively. We were switching and getting little (guys) matched on big (guys) and we took the easy way out by settling for jump shots.

The last thing we need is for him to go out there and really pop it and have to miss six to eight weeks.
opening quite thinking
Their organization has always been very first-class. Opening night, sometimes they get really excited. Some of their people, they just really weren't quite thinking all the way.
ball defend difficult looking player playing stagnant throw
They're playing better now than when they had those guys. What they're doing right now, they're not as predictable. They have a lot more perimeter movement, a lot more player and ball movement. They're not as stagnant offensively when they're looking to just throw it into Jermaine and play off him, so they're more difficult to defend right now.
phenomenal team
They're a different team with Tracy. He was phenomenal tonight.
athletic both defensive extremely offensive shoot spot spread team
They're a different team. Before, they could really spot up and shoot it extremely well and could really spread the floor. Now they're a much more athletic team and try to use their athleticism both on the offensive end and defensive end. They're going through those adjustments right now.
afraid guys
They're not afraid to let one of the guys be the go-to guy down the stretch. They will defer to somebody.
anytime bad bounce carries coach energetic energy excitement initial takes whether
There's always an energetic bounce - whether good, bad or indifferent - because a new voice, a new energy comes in. Anytime a coach takes over a team, there's always that initial excitement that carries over to the team.
becomes constant course excitement great happen happy intensity kicks level pressure produce question series
At first you're there, you're happy to be there. ... Then the pressure becomes more to produce as you're there. There's no question that for young players, there's great excitement and enjoyment. But they have to get used to making the constant adjustments that happen over the course of a series and how every game, the intensity level kicks up more and more.
five guys locked position prevent quick wherever
As well as he's playing, all five guys have to be locked into him. Nobody's going to take him one-on-one and prevent him from getting wherever he wants. He's too quick and too good. All five guys have to be in a position to help.
