I have spread out my stance just a touch and worked on keeping my hands back just a little further. I think that led to the success I've had the past week. I'm going to write all these things down and hope I can take this into next year.
crappy fell flat head kept next proud reminded season though
I'm very proud of myself because I could have just fell flat on myself and let it go. (I could have) said: 'You know what, crappy season and we'll get 'em next year,' but I didn't. I kept my head up, even though there are times I am reminded of what happened. I've been able to use that as motivation.

Keith's a brain. He's smart, and he takes a lot of pride in what he does.
accept both exactly fact last love reed works
I think it's the fact that Reed and I both accept our roles. We're comfortable. Obviously, both of us would love to play every day, but we know exactly how it works because we went through it last year.

I'd done the hard part first. I got the big hits, then I know I just needed a single, but it wasn't to be.

All the guys in the clubhouse love him. A lot of superstars aren't the way he is.

It looks a lot nicer, ... It's a nice number, but what are you going to do? We're not going to be disappointed and we're going to take a lot of positive things out of the season. It would have been nice to finish 81-81 though.
hard looking pitch quite running
I went up there looking for a pitch to handle. Unfortunately I didn't quite get the hit. I thought that could have been a hit. I was running hard and he got me by a step.
