The first time was much more severe, and he wasn't able to walk. I think this one will be kind of short term,
Hopefully, he'll get three at-bats in a shorter period of time hitting at the top of the lineup.
He can throw it at any time and throw it for strikes. It's a very effective pitch for him. I want to learn how he throws it, keep it in mind, maybe teach it to someone else.
He had a live arm, but he couldn't find the strike zone. You expect him to be a little sharper, but he'll throw better the next time out.
He had brain cramps, ... He was a spectator. It didn't hurt us tonight, but it will hurt you another time you do it. The Mets are struggling and they didn't take advantage of things.

I didn't even have time to say, 'Uh oh,'
A lot of teams are using emergency starters this time of year, ... but we have two 'openings' in our rotation instead of just one and, right now, they come back to back.
Just knowing him for a brief period of time, I feel like he's going to go out there and give it 110% and he's going to put the effort in to get better on a daily basis. He's not going to go out there and just put time in.
That's a lot of years to live in this game. To be in the game this long, you have to be very fortunate. A lot of people has been involved in this game and very few have spent that much time in the game. I feel very lucky, and I appreciate the opportunities that I've had and still have. I don't take anything for granted.
I might be more reasonable with it. There will be a certain time when the things go off. At a certain time, you have to start preparing yourself for the ballgame and think about the people around you.
The time for forgiveness and overlooking and waiting is over because you just don't have those numbers of games left. We got to have people going out there now doing the job, not hoping they are doing it.
Every Opening Day is special to me. When they don't become special to you, it's time for you to get out of the game. You get butterflies, and can't wait to get started. You look forward to it from the time the season ends until the next Opening Day.
He felt like every time he took the ball, he was going to go nine innings, no matter what. The good ones, they perform even though they're not 100 percent -- they find a way to get the job done.
