I think Carly was a little nervous in her first game. She came back very strong, especially in that third game. She might have lost a bit of focus in the fourth, but she won a strong and decisive fifth game. Christina also played very well. She's probably one of the toughest No. 9 players anywhere in the country.

She started really slow, and her opponent is a very hard hitter who dominated the 'T' for a while. Once she could maneuver the ball into the back corners, she got better looks and adjusted to the pace. She did quite well from there.

We're going to have to play very well next weekend. Fortunately, I think we'll go into it pretty healthy. I thought today was a good showing overall, although the results weren't great. We showed toughness and more confidence today.
