It caught us off-guard at the last second. Living here, I should've known the wind was going to come out of the southeast in the afternoon.
fun guys racing since
It has been a lot more fun racing since those guys got into it. It's made better racers out of all of us.
decision pick race run splitting three tough
When you get to a race where you're going to run 95-105 mph, it's a really tough decision to pick the right propeller. We have two or three options, and it's really splitting hairs.
boats both champions finish national nicer win
We just want both boats to finish without breaking, and that way they're the national champions or we're the national champions. If they win it, it couldn't go to two nicer guys.
good mike played racing
We were just side-by-side. It was as good as racing gets. As Mike said, he could've played rock-paper-scissors with Doug, we were so close.
