Gary Pattersonis an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head football coach at Texas Christian University. Patterson has led the TCU Horned Frogs to six conference championships—the Conference USA title in 2002, four Mountain West Conference titles, and Big 12 Conference co-championship in 2014—and eight bowl game wins including a victory in the 2011 Rose Bowl. BYU plays great defense and we'll have to find a way to take the ball game, ... That's how you win in conference on the road. They've moved the football this year and had penalties and turnovers when they got into the red zone. You have to create lost yardage plays to stop them. You have to take the fight to them and not play on your heels.

I get a little upset and then I get settled down. I was disappointed in the young man but the game is the game. We cut as wide receivers too.

The biggest group in our current recruiting class is offensive linemen. Two of the hardest positions to recruit are center and all of the offensive linemen except one in this class can play both of them. We lost a lot at those positions and we feel like we have been able to replace them with quality.

Oklahoma has more question marks, I think. If I'm them watching film I'm not sure what kind of TCU team I'm getting. Last year was an uncharacteristic year for us defensively.

It was a great win for the program, but now it's time to move on. I'm very happy for TCU, the alumni and the players. It's been a lot of fun, but now it's back to work.
