It was a very stressful time for all of us. We were sitting up here in Pittsburgh for a hockey game, and they were going through a hurricane.

It happened pretty quickly. We're sitting up here for a hockey game and they're going through a hurricane. If we'd known ahead of time it was going to be that bad we'd have tried to get everybody out of there.

We were looking at the camp roster during our (team) meeting (the other) night, Joe and I, and I didn't see many guys (born) in the 1960s. There were some '80s, some '85s. You realize how much older you are, but we're definitely excited to be here and be part of this team.

We're different guys, for sure. I'm a little more bullheaded, probably, and have to be because of the style of game I play. My game's a little different than Joe's. Joe is a real good face-off man and a good shot. Me, I spend a little more time in the traffic banging bodies and creating a little bit of havoc.

We started our careers together and we wanted to finish our careers together. And going to Florida gives us that opportunity.

We're not used to playing that way, most of us. It's going to take some time.

We're making some real progress. We didn't have our best game but we battled hard and found a way to win, and that's what we need to do down the stretch.
