I just had a bad attitude about it all, I didn't really have the desire to play. Since I was like eight, I'd played for five teams a year, playing six nights a week. Finally, I was like 'I'm done, I don't want to play anymore'.

I converted to the LDS Church when I was 18-years old. I think a lot of things happened in my life that changed my perspective on where I was headed. I knew if I continued doing what I was doing, I wasn't going to end up anywhere that I wanted to be in the future.
