The guy couldn't have been more wide open. But this was a total team loss. I don't think we competed like we've competed all year prior to this.
arena bottom chance difference dropped fourth good kicked line pass protect
You've got to play and the bottom line is that they kicked our (expletive) up front. When you've got a good quarterback, you've got to protect him. We didn't do that. We had a chance to make plays. We dropped a touchdown pass on fourth down. Little things like that are the difference in Arena football.

If you're going to be a championship-caliber team, you have to continue to make strides and get better.

It was stunning because Todd ... is a very good friend of mine, and I didn't know he had a problem. I felt I had let him down as a friend because I didn't see it. I didn't know if I could help him or not. I took some bullets here locally because I defended him and I stood by him. What kind of friend would I have been if I hadn't been there for him?
