After we got beat last year, the girls put a lot of time in and worked really hard to get back to this position. One of their goals all season was to get back to this position and take it one step further. It's an awesome feeling.

I don't know a lot about Southeast Webster, but I know the Jorgensen (Jennifer) girl is a good one. We'll have to find a way to contain her.
excellent guard job point spot taken
She's taken over the point guard spot and has done an excellent job of that. She's been one of our better defenders.

If the stakes were the same as last year, that would be good.

Not looking ahead, we're going in with the goal of bringing home a state championship. That's not an unrealistic goal.
forced instead job letting played rush second tried
(In the first half), I thought offensively we tried to rush some things and forced some things, instead of just letting things happen. We did a much better job in the second half, and defensively we played much better in the second half, too.
awesome came girls played proud
We really thought it would be a battle. I'm really so proud of the girls, the way they came out and played so strong. I just think they did an awesome job.
We're going to see if we can't have a different ending.

We're just happy to be in this position right now and hopefully we can take care of what we need to take care of.

We don't have to talk about last year. The girls have it in the back of their minds what happened. Just as it was then, our goal is to win a state championship, but we're not going to overlook anybody and we're going to take it one game at a time.
