George Curtis Wing Jr.was a Maine politician and lawyer. He was born and raised in Auburn, Maine, where he attended Edward Little High School. He then attended Brown University, graduating in 1900 and Harvard University School of Law in 1903. He represented his home town of Auburn in the Maine House of Representatives from 1921-22. The person we are reading about is not the same person who played baseball at Cal State, Dominguez Hills. I can see Steve giving his mom and dad hugs after the game. It was a very close family. It's just so out of character for this young man.
