This Song (Give Em Hell Kid) Is about getting Knocked Up. Has Anyone Here Ever Gotten Knocked Up?
This sh*t is easy peasy pumpkin peasy. Pumpkin pie, motherf**ker!
A lot of people, think that they can solve their problems with antidepressents, and that I've noticed, being a bigger issue. it really strips people of who they are. All your quirks, all your problems, even your depressions and failures, that's what makes you, you.
Your going to come across a lot of shitty bands, and a lot of shitty people. And if anyone of those people call you names because of what you look like, or because they don't accept you for who you are. I want you to look right at that motherf****r, stick up your middle finger, and scream F**K YOU!
Actually, I might party a bit. I haven't partied in a long time, ... But we party a little differently than, like, Trick Daddy. We like high-speed Internet and strong coffee.
I'm never able to forget the really bad stuff I went through!
If sh*tty ass rock dudes, in sh*tty ass rock bands, ask you to show your tits for backstages passes, I want you to spit in their f*ucking faces and scream F*CK YOU!
If you don't go to highschool you will definitely go to jail.
We [My Chemical Romance] didn't push ourselves to that next level. I think we purposefully held ourselves back, feeling like maybe in order to advance, we need to regress. There was definitely a sense of fear within the band about taking that next step.
I do a lot of research, I try to think about how it relates to music and I just do a ton of drawing. It's much easier to work your ideas out that way.
My favourite thing about touring is really the shows, because early on you can say it's definitely things like travel and seeing the world and stuff like that, but over time you don't really get to see the world. The most important thing in the day is the show. So that's why I do it.
I learned that the world doesn't want to be saved, and it will f**king punch you in the face if you try.
I think my favorite medium is music, with my main tools being my voice and a guitar. But I do find every other medium extremely fulfilling and useful in helping everything I do. Sometimes I need to make a song just for a comic. All of the art and mediums are connected for me.
Learning to be extremely disciplined has been the key for me. I work really hard during work hours and family really hard during family hours. Family does always come first though, in any situation.
