For me, the summer will be pure gray -- mother-of-pearl gray, very pale gray. To me, this is the big statement for summer. Then we have light blue, light turquoise, lots of pink.
What women need today is classic things with an age, with fantasy, with a quality. Dresses you can live with. Sometimes it's the fabrics who win, sometimes it's the shape, but I always rework on themes that make Versace a classic name with serenity.
My fantasy is to leave options for women -- to make their individuality come out, to try to accomplish what they want, and I think women want to look beautiful. (It's) less about jacket(s) and more about shirt(s) and about sweaters, about T-shirts and about freedom.
A lot of devore fabric, see-through. (It) is a kind of collection you can combine in a different way.
I don't want to suggest go shorter (because) I invented long. It's become so pretentious in fashion, but it's about educating the style of the people. And people have to educate themselves and express their individuality.
