basketball brand decided destroyed game played
As well as they played in Game 1, we thought we destroyed ourselves. We didn't play our kind of basketball. We didn't do anything we preached. We decided to come out here (last night) and play our brand of basketball.
came miss missed shot
It went in and it came out. You are going to miss more than you make in your career. I missed that one but I am going to have more opportunities. Then there will be some happiness. I really thought it was going in. That's a shot I feel comfortable taking.
basketball came deserved fought game minutes miss missed
It went in and came out. You're going to miss more than you make in your career. I missed that one, but I'm going to have more opportunities to make them. ... I thought it was going in. It was there, just a little off. It just wasn't our day. We fought all 48 minutes of this basketball game and we deserved this win.
players push speed
They are not going to need me to score. They are going to need me to push the ball, use my speed and get after it. They have so many players who can score.
against blake coming excited hometown juan steve trying win
They are hometown heroes. I know they are going to be excited about coming home, but it's not about us against Steve Blake and Juan Dixon. We are trying to get the win and get back to .500.
arms cheer easier happy imagine open point trying
You can see what they've been through by the look on their faces. I'm just trying to cheer them up. I can't imagine what they're going through, and what they've seen, but I know what we can do from this point on to try to make it easier for them. You have to just open your arms and make them as happy as you can.
anderson beating ended found rhythm
Anderson ended up beating us. He found his rhythm tonight.
call fought game lose wants
It hurts. No one wants to lose a game where you fought so hard, especially with a charging call at the end.
close coach fighting fourth game jeopardize looked maybe sheet
I thought coach was going to put me back in but he just didn't. Once I looked at the stat sheet in the fourth quarter, but we were up 25. Maybe if it was a close game and we were fighting for the game. But when you're up 25, he's not going to jeopardize a player.
couple hopefully
I went through that play a couple of times in my head, what I should've done. You always do that. But it's going to be another game, and hopefully it doesn't go down to the wire.
against call falling five foul gets obvious replay rookie situation somebody watched weighs
I watched the replay five times and it wasn't a foul. It was a foul on him. I didn't even get the charge. He was falling before I even got there. When a rookie ref gets put in that situation -- somebody who weighs 215 going against somebody who weighs 165 -- it's an obvious call to make.
affected care food help helping hurricane katrina lost people realize taken trying wants watching water
The people affected by Hurricane Katrina really need to be taken care of. It's rough. Everyone wants to help, but it's not going to be easy. We've got to realize that these people lost everything they had. For some people they didn't have food or water for days. I'm just trying to do my part and help out as much as I can. While everyone's watching on TV, they need to be helping at the same time.
commercial pay print
It's not about the money. I want to be in their advertising, have a commercial, be in a print campaign. I'll even pay for the commercial to be made.
beat guy hard team
It's hard to beat a guy who's 9-for-9 from the 3-point line. He willed his team to victory.
