We blew a number of games we should have won defensively. It all goes back to that first game when we lost and people like to make a bigger deal out of it than it was.
We really don't know what it's all about. We haven't experienced it, the letdowns and heartbreaks.

A lot of rookies come in thinking they are the man, pounding their chest. He didn't do that. He didn't talk any sort of game. He just showed up to work every day believing he belonged. He had a quiet confidence.

We're getting better coverage. Our linebackers are more sound. We're getting better checks and better coverage. Guys like Rocky (Bernard) and Bryce (Fisher) have obviously picked it up for us, and they're rushing the quarterback really well.

We have a number of guys who have been cut by other teams we signed off the street. Guys who were not given a chance in other organizations to play. These guys come in and have been stars for us.

When we have a 21-point lead at halftime, those are football games we have to win on defense. Our offense can go out there and go three-and-out every series, but defensively we should still go out there and be able to win those football games.
