gratifying last year
When it's all said and done, this year may be even more gratifying than last year,
accomplish adversity close game grit happened happy including issues last maybe needs point respect scratch season ship slowly third year
We slowly crept back and got our ship righted, ... We had a lot of adversity this season - we're already on our third different car. Things have happened this year including breakage and other issues that we haven't had before. We've battled back and got our game to where it needs to be, or at least close to where it needs to, and we're getting happy again. Maybe after having to grit through a season like this and having to scratch and claw for every point makes us respect much more what we've been able to accomplish during the last two seasons.
brakes lasted lucky tires
After about 35 laps, the tires and brakes started to go. We're lucky we lasted as long as we did.
best car change couple difference dream drive fantastic few figured guys last lose race took track trouble variables weather
It took a couple races, but for the most part, this Pontiac GTO has been something special, ... This is the best racecar I've ever had and we were in trouble before we got it. It's a dream to drive right now and that's the way my car was last year. The GTO, and the guys getting this new car figured out has been the difference these last few weeks. They do a fantastic job, and once they get it, they usually don't lose it. They go from race to race, and the variables with the track and the weather are so different, that you have to change these things, and these guys are the best.
boring easy few great guys last lose media night roll sleep sorry stay struggle worrying year
It's not as easy as it looks, I swear. I'm sorry if I'm boring you guys (the media), but we've just been on such a roll over the last few years. It's still a struggle and I lose sleep every night worrying about what everyone else is doing, but we've managed to stay ahead. We have a long way to go this year but we're off to a great start.
burned kept met mutual
We had mutual friends and we had met through cycling. She kept me going when I got burned out.
anyone best calming head influence keeps level owner team
(Ken) is the best team owner that anyone could ever have. He has a level head and a very calming influence that keeps us all grounded.
cancer dealing dual family patients thousands
We have thousands of patients and family members, ... who are dealing with dual devastation, cancer and the hurricane.
days definitely gaining good happy help laps pleased racetrack shocks spot springs stuff testing though time tried trying
We're still trying to find a happy spot with this new chassis, and even though this Pontiac GTO has been very good lately, we definitely keep gaining on it every week. We're pretty pleased right now, but you have to look for even better and that's what we tried to do during our two days of testing at Indy. We experimented with shocks and springs and stuff like that, trying to find something that will help us. At the same time we wanted some laps on this racetrack because even though it will be different when we come back, there are some characteristics that are going to be the same.
dedicated helping partner patient please pray
We are dedicated to helping every patient we can. Please pray for these people. And please partner with us to help make this happen.
data dollar ignored largely market
The data was mildly dollar positive. However, I think the market largely ignored the data.
deficit
The deficit is getting worse, but that's not a surprise.
coming confident consider ducks families home job love needed row team track win
We're a very confident group. We got our ducks in a row when we needed to and got the job done. ... I consider this my home track and the team and our families love coming to Las Vegas. I can't think of a better place to win this.
blame
When we blame, we give away our power.
