One of the most obvious pictures of inequity in our district is in the elementary level, and it has to do with technology.

It would be reprehensible to us if they went back to being an all-white board. We understand that people are going to take issue with us pushing diversity but are those other 25 seats (on the board of commissioners) guaranteed to whites?

The charge that we're making a race issue out of this plays to an audience that the Sheriff's Department hopes will focus on something other than this practice (hooding).

For the Ku Klux Klan to now attempt to engage schools is a new and scary development in Michigan. Schools are a breeding ground for racism. This has to be stomped out right away.
black families moving northern
There are more and more black families moving into the northern communities and they should have the right to be represented as well.
