ball basket cold guys inside open played problem taking zone
We wanted to go at them, but if we were open on the outside, I had no problem with us taking the 3. But we were cold outside, and our big guys went away from the basket when they got the ball inside (against Hale's 2-3 zone defense). We just played scared.
choice chris few fourth front game job nice played shots tonight worked
That was one of the few shots that go through. Chris did a nice job fending off the defenseman and getting off a nice shot. Tonight was the first game he played up front for us. He's been our fourth defenseman, but with all the injuries, I had no choice but to put him up there. It worked out pretty well for us.
build couple games gave gives good knocked last played pleased practices second shots three
I was very pleased with the way we played in the second half. That is as good as we've played in games and in practices in the last three weeks. It gives us something to build on. We were able to do what we wanted to offensively in the second half. We knocked down a couple of shots that gave us confidence.
again gave help huge played program role seniors three upset year
Those three seniors gave everything they had to this program all year and again tonight. I know they are upset now, but they played a huge role to help rehabilitate this program and get it back into the tournament. They are all going to be sorely missed.
embodies game knows played poorly quit sports successful takes win
Top-to-bottom, this was a poorly played game on our part. We did not do the little things that have made us successful all year. However, we do have that 'no quit attitude' and Derek embodies that as much as anyone. From all his sports experiences, he knows what it takes to win in these high-pressure situations.
box defense finish matter played
Defensively, we executed perfectly, but we didn't box out. So it really didn't matter how well we played on defense because we didn't finish it out.
assault entire industry liquor
I see it as an assault on the entire liquor industry by neo-prohibitionists.
came court early four points rushed spirits time
Our spirits just got down early tonight. Every time we came back down the court offensively after they scored, we thought we had to make four points and just rushed things.
athletic box defensive
Our turnovers killed us. That, and we didn't box out on the defensive end. That won't get it done; they're way more athletic than us.
active alive balls giving keeping rodney second third
Rodney was really active inside. He was keeping balls alive and giving us second and third chances.
accounting bit buying countries currency definitely easier foreign investors issues ownership rather sounds stocks target
It is definitely the way things are going, but a year-end target sounds a bit aggressive. You have the currency issues and the accounting issues and you still have the regulatory issues, and in some countries there are issues about foreign ownership on stock. I think it's a lot easier to have foreign investors buying U.S. stocks rather than the other way around.
bound five hold work
Look, Merck at this price, or whatever. You know, if I hold it for five years, it's bound to work out.
airline earnings economic fed good interest looking money near potential raising reflect stocks stories terrific until wait wise worries
When you are looking to put new money into investments, it's always wise to wait until you get a better sense that the Fed is very near the end of raising interest rates. But there are some terrific earnings stories in this market, and some of these earnings stories, at least in my opinion, already reflect a lot of the worries about potential economic problems. Airline stocks are a good illustrative example.
days seem six
We can't seem to find a combination that's working right now. Now we have six days to get better.
