If Alex hadn't said yes, I guess we'd have to keep going until they had to wheel me out of here. Alex is me 30 years ago. She can step right in. I've had two years to prepare her, even though she didn't know it.

I don't think we were aggressive enough. We didn't fight for the ball. We didn't get a lot of first touches. We seem to play too unselfish, instead of taking the ball to the net. But it's a win and I'll take it.

He's a very passionate guy, ... I sublet his apartment to be nearer to the guy I was dating. Maybe I should do a movie about that.

He was our only returning senior who played a lot, and I thought maybe he would try and be the man, but he was our leader in the way he played team basketball.

He helped me a lot, ... I would be in the game a lot with him and there where times when I wouldn't know who I had, what I was supposed to do and he helped me out.

Having Eugene really helps us show our commitment. He's in a unique situation in that he owned a junior team before he owned an NHL team. He has a lot of credibility.

He married Marilyn Monroe and that certainly didn't hurt his popularity at all.
