More than 100,000 Soldiers have trained on our combat convoy simulators, mostly National Guard. About 1,000 pilots, crew chiefs and Soldiers have trained on the door-gunner simulator at Fort Hood and Fort Rucker.

focusing good preparing pressure race week
At times it's good to take the pressure off of preparing for a race at the end of the week. With a week off from racing, we'll be focusing on the workouts.

I'm not terribly surprised about where we were picked. I think the voting spread shows that most coaches think that it will be a pretty tight race, with several teams having a shot at winning it all. We did get one first-place vote, so apparently one coach out there thinks we're dangerous. Part of the problem with a preseason poll in our conference is that due to the geographical spread of the schools, we don't get to see everyone, such as Oral Roberts or Centenary, prior to the conference season.

doubles good hard injuries lose match playing rare team win
It is hard to win the match when you lose the doubles point, it is rare to win without getting that first point. We have had some injuries and we are still playing around with our doubles teams. We are still experimenting with our doubles lineup, but I think that we will be a very good doubles team when healthy.

It gives us great momentum. One more race to go. We expected the veterans to lead us here, but it's been the young kids. Still, we'll take it. And I never count Bode Miller out of any race.
