apparently coaches conference due oral poll prior problem roberts several shot shows spread surprised teams terribly thinks tight voting winning
I'm not terribly surprised about where we were picked. I think the voting spread shows that most coaches think that it will be a pretty tight race, with several teams having a shot at winning it all. We did get one first-place vote, so apparently one coach out there thinks we're dangerous. Part of the problem with a preseason poll in our conference is that due to the geographical spread of the schools, we don't get to see everyone, such as Oral Roberts or Centenary, prior to the conference season.
birmingham car character deal easy electrical event good hard paper problems race relatively robert round showing stayed suspension team true worst
On paper the Birmingham event was our worst showing of the season. But it showed the true character of the team that we stayed with it and had a good race car for Robert in Round 10. Electrical problems are the most frustrating to deal with because they're so hard to find. It's not like a suspension problem, that's relatively easy to diagnose.
blame customers difficulty disparate largely needs problems security shop themselves users
Customers can largely blame themselves and not the vendors for these problems. Users have been clamoring for a one-stop shop for all their security needs because they had so much difficulty integrating all these disparate technologies.
annoying anyone benefits company cost directors discussion enjoy identify layer outside point purge security useful vocabulary word
Security directors would do well to purge the word security from their vocabulary when having this discussion. To anyone outside of the security profession, security is an annoying layer of cost and inconvenience. The benefits of security should be the point of your presentation. If we can identify what benefits a company can enjoy with appropriate security measures, then we can have a useful discussion of ROI.

This place was rich in immigrant history, which appealed to me, being a modern-day immigrant. I knew on the plane home that something happened in that place, that this could be a real sweet and funny movie.

I don't care if I have a whole division full of lesbians, if they can do the job. Look, we kicked out a bunch of gay men who were linguists, Arabic specialists. What kind of stupidity is that?

deficit greatly notion panacea spending
The economy's not doing well, so it's appropriate to do what you can. But the notion that deficit spending is a panacea is greatly over-advertised.

I thought that was the big difference. We did a lot of things right defensively, but giving up second shots hurt us.
