boston fans hard hurts nice places stick tampa
Boston fans are great. They tell you when you're bad, but they stick by you. ... You can tell it hurts (the fans when the Bruins lose). You can go to Tampa or other places where they don't have that passion. And it's nice to have, but it's a thing where fans have to be patient. We're working hard and I think we're going in the right way.
awkward caught exposed itself normally position
It's just unfortunate that I was kind of caught in an awkward position because normally the way I would take that hit, it wouldn't have exposed itself to be a penalty.
changing couple games gave kept second took
In the second period, we took a couple of penalties, and that gave them some momentum. We have to keep them from changing the momentum, because that's what has been costing us games lately. Tonight, Hannu kept that game from going the other way.
anxious boston cold fans giving good great hockey love season stanley winter
I think our fans were anxious to have hockey back, and they're going to be in a good mood. It's a long, cold winter in Boston without hockey and the Bruins. I know for us, as players, it's real good to be back and to be doing what we love to do. Hopefully, we can make it up to our fans by having a great season and giving them what they want (a Stanley Cup).
crunch effort good time
It's crunch time and we have to go. The effort that was there just wasn't good enough at all.
blocking corner far fight figure goes guy imposing plays rare size taking talents
In preseason games, he's out there going down and blocking shots, ... He's not an imposing figure as far as size goes, but he plays like it. ... He goes in the corner and he's taking the hit. He's done that. That's rare for a guy with the talents that he has, to still fight in the corner and do what he does.

playing rest stack successful team together wins
We are not a pretty team and to be successful we have to do the little things. We need to stack some wins together because playing .500 won't get it done the rest of the way.
