I thought I bit off more than I could chew until now. But I've said all along, he's a special horse. He may be only 3, but he's got lots of heart and he's still maturing and developing with each race.

At a mile-and-a-half, it's anybody's game. It depends on how it all falls together. Speed is always a big factor, but fortunately I don't think he needs to go to the lead like he did last time. He can do anything. He can sit off the pace, and that's got to be a big thing in his favor.

I'm not sure what we'll do next. We also have a lot of options here for him, too.

I don't think she cared too much for the track, either. We'll just turn the page and move on, and if everything goes all right over the next few weeks we'll stick with our original plan to go to the Ashland and then the Oaks.

She ran a huge race. She ran off two works and couldn't have run any better.

The chip is very clean. There's no damage done to the joint. It's not a big deal, but it's just an unfortunate thing.

He's still just a baby, but he's got a lot of heart. He can set the pace, but I think he's versatile. I don't think he's going to develop into a horse that necessarily has to be on the lead.

We've decided to keep him on turf for now. Besides, the UAE would be a long trip and a hard race, and if you go over there you could lose him for most of the year. He's still got lots of years left, and there are a lot of nice opportunities for him over here.
florida lost training
When we got her down to Florida and started training her, it didn't look like she'd lost that much.
