If you'd asked me a year ago, I'd have said we couldn't be doing this. But even this fall, you could tell something had changed. (Meyers) is big on confidence, especially on the mound. Knowing you're better than the hitter, having good body language. If you get upset, don't show it.

I like stomping around the castle. I think it's fun. Everybody has some aggression and a little animal in them.
advance hard hard-work people work
We all want to advance to the state. That's what all the hard work is for. The more people we can get there the better.
later preparing run
We run a lot, so we are used to it. We are preparing for later on in the season. We know we have to get better and the only way to do that is by running.
