It is nice to do an independent film that can be a commercial hit. I think comedies do really well. I wish more independent films were comedies.
I often take clothes from my mom's closet, because she was a Simplicity pattern model in the 1950s and loves clothes. She's also a total pack rat.
I enjoy doing independent films more, only because there's more freedom. There's not as many cooks tampering with what you are trying to do.
