I didn't see it. I just saw the ball and thought it was a little down but he obviously thought it was a strike. Actually, I was watching the runner so I never saw anything happen.

Henson did a great job in relief. That's something that wasn't there over the weekend and our defense played really well.

I was a little surprised when they announced his record at the beginning of the game that he was 1-0. That shocked me because he has been pitching much better than that. He has got us deep into games and has been very sharp, but we have let a couple of leads slip away.

I would have bet he'd have a good game tonight. It was important for us to get back and to play well.

It can take time to find out. We're starting to feel what we're capable of doing. Sometimes teams peak too early. I'm hoping we'll peak at the right time.

That's a good pitcher over there. He gave us some problems. Maryland is a much better team this year.

That was a big play there and we made a few more after that. (Elon) is a good hitting team and our defense and pitching got it done.

I didn't know that. But we still have some work to do and we had to dig ourselves out of that hole so we had to bare down a little bit and we have done a pretty good job of that on the weekends.

We did a pretty good job offensively even though there weren't a lot of hits up there. We just got our men on base and did what we had to do.

We just got beat today. They swung the bats; they hit everything we threw up there. We just didn't pitch very well today, and we didn't hit. It's one game. That's all there is to it. That's the way you have to look at it.
