He's our best low-post player. When you attack the basket, you need someone big and strong and aggressive to do it, and he's the man.

As the conference gets competitive, it becomes physical, and he is our physical presence in there. Really that's what he gives us, and that's pretty easy to see.

It was a very physical game that got out of control and that hurt our field goal percentage. It's tough to shoot when it's that physical of a game.

They worked hard and deserved the type of regular season they had, but it's over with. Now we go down to the tournament, and when you go to the tournament you go to win.

I think it was a well-deserved honor. He was a two-time player of the week and the only underclassman on the first team.

It's a huge week. Hopefully we could be playing for a conference championship in that last game.

It seems like something here in Pershing Arena dictates it's going to come down to the last seconds. Maybe it's just a ploy by our players to get the crowd coming back.

He came here as a freshman and took his lumps, but the significant thing is that he's hung in there and believed in himself. Now he's reaping the benefits of his hard work early on.
defensive few good knocked patient played
It was lunch-bucket, blue-collar, nothing fancy. They're a good defensive team. I thought we played well defensively, and we were a little more patient and knocked down a few more shots.
